PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly determine whether the appearance of an absorber can be allowed.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a method for producing an absorbent article 1. The method includes an appearance inspection step of inspecting the appearance of each absorber by photographing absorbers that are continuously transported on a conveyance path TM in a longitudinal direction with one camera 23 while illuminating the absorbers with a plurality of illuminators 25.
