PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism for enabling progress observation due to comparison with past images and the setting of a photographing area effective to diagnosis.SOLUTION: A tomographic image acquisition part 101 acquires a first tomographic image of the eye to be examined photographed in the past, and a fundus image photographing part 120 acquires a fundus image as a wide range image of the eye to be examined. A first photographing area calculation part 104 calculates a first photographing area in the first tomographic image by using the first tomographic image and the fundus image photographed by the fundus image photographing part 120.
