To provide a medical cap having an elastic stopper and an outer frame body for holding the elastic stopper therein, and having no liquid leakage at the time of needle stick, and having an excellent holding force against needle pull-out, and a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: The present invention is a medical cap 10 which includes an elastic stopper 2, and an outer frame body 1 including at least an upper frame part 11 for supporting a peripheral edge part 26 of the elastic stopper 2 from an upper surface side and a lower frame part 12 for supporting the peripheral edge part 26 from a lower surface side.
