The fluid delivery device includes a collet assembly having a top wall and a bottom wall attached at a central portion of the collet. The central portion defines an internal step, and the bottom wall includes circumferentially spaced flexible tabs. The fluid delivery device also includes a fluid distribution assembly coupled to the collet assembly. The fluid distribution assembly may be positioned relative to the collet between the pre-use configuration and the pre-activation configuration. The fluid distribution assembly has a plenum including a sleeve component having an outer proximal portion extending circumferentially. The lower wall portion of the sleeve component includes a projection corresponding to the flexible tab of the collet.
