PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiographic image photographing system and program, in which a weight reduction is performed when a photographing target that does not require a load withstanding performance is photographed, whereas the load withstanding performance is achieved when a photographing target that requires the load withstanding is photographed.
SOLUTION: The system is configured so that a radiographic image is photographed even with an electronic cassette 32 alone and that, on the other hand, a protector 30 for protecting the electronic cassette 32 from load applied by a photographing target, is attached to or detached from the electronic cassette 32.
