PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a puncture adapter including a miniaturized elastic member, capable of preventing a needle from being easily detached from a guide member, and capable of easily releasing the needle.SOLUTION: The puncture adapter 100 includes: a first guide member 001 fixed to an attaching member 006 to an ultrasonic probe and having a groove whose cross section is approximately triangular a second guide member 002 having a projection to be fitted into the groove or detached from the groove by the rotation around a rotation shaft 003 fixed to the first guide member 001 and a coil spring 007 to apply the force to fit the projection into the groove by the rotation. The puncture adapter 100 is for inserting and moving a puncture needle from one end to the other end in the direction of extension of the groove with the projection fitted into the groove.
