PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container for raising seedling, which can raise plants, where replant failure is easy to occur, labor-savingly and efficiently and replant them, and a method of raising large seedling using it.SOLUTION: There is provided a container for raising seedling, wherein unwoven fabric of long fibers with a density of 0.3 to 0.5g/cm3, a thickness of 0.2 to 0.4 mm, and a fiber diameter of 10 to 30 μm and having permeability is used.
