Ein erfindungsgemäßes Verfahren zur automatischen Zuordnung wenigstens eines Kombinationsbildes eines Untersuchungsobjekts zu einer in dem Kombinationsbild dargestellten Spinspezies umfasst die Schritte:– Erfassen eines Informations-MR-Datensatzes,– Ermitteln von Informationen über das Untersuchungsobjekt aus dem erfassten Informations-MR-Datensatz,– Erfassen von mindestens zwei MR-Datensätzen zu jeweils einer von mindestens zwei Echozeiten nach einer Anregung mittels einer Multi-Kontrast-Messung,– Ermitteln mindestens eines Kombinationsbildes aus den mindestens zwei MR-Datensätzen,– Zuordnen der in dem mindestens einen Kombinationsbild dargestellten Spinspezies auf Basis der aus dem Informations-MR-Datensatz ermittelten Informationen.Durch Verwendung von zusätzlichen mittels Magnetresonanztechnik ermittelten Informationen über das Untersuchungsobjekt erlaubt das Verfahren eine automatische eindeutige globale Zuordnung der richtigen Spinspezies.A method according to the invention for the automatic assignment of at least one combination image of an examination object to a spin species shown in the combination image comprises the steps of: detecting an information MR data set, determining information about the examination object from the acquired information MR data set, detecting at least two MR data sets in each case one of at least two echo times after an excitation by means of a multi-contrast measurement, - determining at least one combination image from the at least two MR data sets, - assigning the spin species shown in the at least one combination image on the basis of information determined by the information MR record.
