The present disclosure is related to an adaptive device for manual traction wheelchairs. The adapter comprises two boxes that are assembled into the manual wheelchair each one of them contains a motor that by means of friction rotates the wheels. This device is universal and does not physically modify the chair, so the same can be adapted to different models, In addition, the wheelchair maintains its foldable attribute and comprises an internal system that allows the user to separate the motor from the wheels to be able to reuse the same in manual mode, without the need to disassemble the entire device.La presente invención se refiere a un dispositivo adaptable para sillas de ruedas de tracción manual, el adaptador comprende dos cajas que van ensambladas a la silla de ruedas manual, cada una de ellas contiene un motor que por medio de fricción hace girar las ruedas. Este dispositivo es universal y no modifica físicamente a la silla, por lo cual puede ser adaptado a diferentes modelos, además, la silla de ruedas mantiene su cualidad plegable y cuenta con un sistema interno que le permite al usuario poder separar el motor de las ruedas para volver a utilizarla de manera manual en cualquier momento, sin necesidad de desmontar todo el dispositivo.
