PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and easily handleable device for controlling a pest insect of a plant, having good pest insect-controlling efficiency and hardly giving influence to the surroundings.SOLUTION: The device for controlling the pest insect of the plant is constituted as follows. A device body 1 equipped with a body part 1a, a gripping part 1b and a nozzle part 1c, where this body part 1a has an air passage 4 communicating with a sucking port 2 and an exhausting port 3, and a fan 5 driven by a motor 7 and a chemical carrier 6 are installed in the air passage 4. Air becomes the air containing a pest insect-controlling component by contacting with the chemical carrier 6 by the drive of the fan 5. The resultant air is allowed to pass through the exhausting port 3 and the nozzle part 1c and to be ejected into the air. The device is simple and easily handleable because the operation can be carried out while holding the grip part 1b with a hand, and can efficiently control the pest insect because the pest insect-controlling component can be directly blown to the pest insect attaching to the plant.
