PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing material for a cockroach, ensuring hygienic conditions by improving the efficiency for capturing/controlling the cockroach at a low cost by a simple structure, and to provide a cockroach-controlling device and a cockroach-controlling method.SOLUTION: The cockroach intends to stay for a long time on a rough surface 12 by the habit when passing on the fixing material 10 for the cockroach to suppress the movement therefrom. That is, the cockroach stands on the fixing material 10 for the cockroach to heighten the probability of eating an attracting poison bait 13 when, for example, the poison bait is placed at the vicinity of the fixing material 10 for the cockroach. The probability of the cockroach entering into a storing container 21 by being attracted with the attracting poison bait 13 is heightened when the storing container 21 in which the attracting poison bait 13 is arranged is placed at the vicinity of the fixing material for the cockroach. As a result, the capturing/controlling efficiency can be improved only by using the inexpensive fixing material 10 for the cockroach having a simple structure of only having the rough surface 12 on the surface.COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT【課題】低コストで簡単な構造によりゴキブリの捕獲・駆除効率を向上させて衛生を確保することができるゴキブリ用定着材、ゴキブリ駆除装置およびゴキブリ駆除方法を提供する。【解決手段】ゴキブリはゴキブリ用定着材１０の上を通行しようとすると、その習性により粗面１２である表面に居続けようとし、そこからの移動が抑制される。即ち、ゴキブリはゴキブリ用定着材１０の上で足を止めるので、例えばゴキブリ用定着材１０の近辺に誘引毒餌剤１３を置いておけば、この誘引毒餌剤１３を喫食する確率が高くなる。また、誘引毒餌剤１３を配置した収容容器２１をゴキブリ用定着材１０の近傍におけば、ゴキブリが誘引毒餌剤１３に誘引されて収容容器内２１に進入する確率が高くなる。このため、表面が粗面１２であるだけの安価で簡単な構造のゴキブリ用定着材１０を用いることにより、捕獲・駆除効率を向上させることができる。【選択図】図２
