PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new laryngoscope which allows accurate larynx expansion by a simple technique without the need of physical strength or skills.SOLUTION: A laryngoscope 1 includes: a blade 20 whose distal end part is to be inserted into a mouth of a patient a handle 10 projected at the rear end part of the blade 20 an operation part 30 provided on the handle 10 and a pressurizing arm 40 lowered to the blade 20 to pressurize the palate of the patient by the operation of the operation part 30. Also, the operation part 30 includes a grip 31 provided side by side with the handle 10, and a pair of upper and lower connecting bars 32a and 32b whose one end side is freely turnably supported by the handle 10 and other end side is freely turnably supported by the grip 31, and which form a four-node rotation link mechanism with the handle 10 and the grip 31. The grip 31 is recommendably lowered to the handle 10 by being held and operated together with the handle 10.
