PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable not only the operation of a dental treatment instrument but also the operation of a dental treatment unit to be performed by a foot operation, thereby preventing an operator from touching an operation switch or the like provided on the dental treatment unit, and enabling treatments to be performed in a more sanitary way.SOLUTION: For a conventional first foot controller 6 for controlling the rotation of a dental treatment instrument by operating a foot-operated lever 6a to the right or left or by pressing a foot plate 61, a second foot controller 10 is provided at the side of the first foot controller and integrally with the first foot controller. A contact 11b is provided on the circumference of a rotating roller 11 of the second foot controller, and a number of contacts 13a that make contact with the contact 11b in turn as the rotating roller rotates are provided on a printed board 13 disposed parallel to the rotating roller 11.
