Dynamic assistance apparatus for the transition from a sitting position to a standing position and vice versa, and a walking aid in a standing position, comprising a chassis (1) on rollers (11, 11 ') multidirectional to which are connected two uprights ( 5, 5 ') of adjustable height each surmounted by an axillary support (8, 8'). This device is characterized in that each upright (5, 5 ') is telescopic and comprises at least one pair of tubes respectively lower (6, 6') connected to the frame (1) and upper (7, 7 ') connected to the support axillary (8, 8 '), said tubes (6, 6'； 7 ', 7') being on the one hand nested and continuously sliding in a race between two extreme positions corresponding to an extended position and a retracted position, and secondly connected by adjustable spring means reminding them in the deployed position at rest, locking means (17) being provided in at least the retracted position.
