PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a needle holder that is the needle holder for endoscopic operation, is suitable to pass a curved needle in a trocar of a narrow inner diameter, and is improved in the usability by the endoscopic operation procedure.SOLUTION: A needle holder is formed of a gap wider than the thickness of a medical needle gripped and curved, and opened long in the longitudinal direction of the jaw in the jaw operation side of the gripping surface of a jaw. The needle holder is made suitable for passing a narrow tube of a trocar such that a curved needle is elastically deformed by extending the curve as a posture of gripping the tip and putting a needle extreme in the gap. Further, the extended needle extreme is structured to be stored in the inside of the needle holder when passing the trocar, and thereby the occurrence of contamination due to a trocar inner wall shaved when the needle extreme passes the trocar can be avoided.COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】 内視鏡下手術用の持針器であって、狭い内径のトロッカーに弯曲針を通過させるのに好適であり、かつ、内視鏡下手術手技での使い勝手を改善した持針器の提供。【解決手段】 ジョーの把持面のジョー操作側に、把持する弯曲した医療用縫合針の太さより幅広で、かつ、ジョーの長手方向に長く開口された間隙を形成した持針器。先端を把持し、間隙に針尻を入れた体勢として、トロッカーの狭い管内に弯曲針が弯曲を伸展する弾性変形をして通過するのに好適なものとした。さらに、トロッカー通過時に伸展された針尻が持針器の内部に収まるような構造として、針尻がトロッカー通過時にトロッカー内壁を削ってコンタミネーションを起こすことも避けられるようにした。【選択図】 図5
