The peripheral blood monocytic cell activity regulating composition including the papaya fermentation product as an active ingredient is provided. Since the composition includes the papaya fermentation product having the peripheral blood monocytic cell activity regulating effect, the composition exhibits the peripheral blood monocytic cell regulating effect. Food and drink, health food, or a feed additive (hereinafter referred to as food or the like) including the peripheral blood monocytic cell activity regulating composition containing the papaya fermentation product as an active ingredient are also provided.
