PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seedling transplanter equipped with a ground working device which can property level the ground in a headland where a field is liable to be roughed or in a place near to the headland, and can improve the accuracy of seedling planting.SOLUTION: The ground working device of the seedling transplanter includes rotors 27a, b liftably disposed in a seedling-planting portion 4 having a plurality of row seedling-planting tools 52a liftably disposed in the rear portion of a vehicle frame 2 to level the ground, and a cover 37 coaxially disposed on the rotation shafts of the rotors. An automatic planting-starting mode for measuring a travel distance from a handle revolution-starting time on the basis of the rotation number detected with the rotation number sensor 7 of a wheel (rear wheel on the inside of the revolution), and automatically starting the planting of the seedlings in a field with the seedling-planting portion 4, when the travel distance reaches a prescribed value is disposed. In order not to ground the rotors 27a, b during the operation of the mode, the rear portion 37b of the rotor cover 37 is rotated on the rear end portion of the upper portion 37a fixed and supported on the seedling-planting portion 4 as a support point to ground the rear end portion of the rear portion 37b on the field, whereby the seedling-planting portion 4 is floated with the read end portion to level the unevenness of the field.COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT【課題】圃場が荒れやすい枕地あるいは枕地近くにおいて適正に整地が行え、苗の植付精度が良くなる対地作業装置付きの苗移植機を提供すること。【解決手段】車体2の後部に昇降自在に設けた複数条分の苗植付具52aを有する苗植付部4に対して昇降自在に設けた地面を整地するロータ27a,bと該ロータの回転軸と同軸上に設けたカバー37を有し、ハンドルの旋回開始時からの走行距離を車輪(旋回内側に後輪)の回転数センサ7で検出した回転数に基づき測定し、走行距離が所定値に達すると自動的に苗植付部4による圃場への苗植付けを開始する自動植付開始モードを設定し、該モード作動中にはロータ27a,bを接地させないようにロータカバー37の後方部37bを苗植付装置4に固定支持された上方部37aの後端部を支点として回動させて後方部37bの後端部を圃場に接地させて、該後端部で苗植付部4を浮かせて圃場の凹凸を均平化させる。【選択図】図1
