PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide solubilized collagen fibers preparable from the toilet water containing collagen and other ingredients with water.SOLUTION: The solubilized collagen fibers encapsulate a humectant which is a solid at normal temperature. The solubilized collagen fibers are produced as follows: An aqueous solution A of the solubilized collagen containing the solubilized collagen having pH&le5.0 isoionic point and the humectant and having a larger pH than the isoionic point of the solubilized collagen is prepared and the resultant solution is discharged in a filamentary form into an organic solvent S1.
