The present invention relates to a cutter protecting device for a brush cutter. The size of cutter shafts of existing brush cutters are formed differently per each manufacturer so that the installation of a cutter protecting plate on the lower side of a cutter of a brush cutter is not facilitated. For solving the problem mentioned above, the purpose of the present invention is to provide the cutter protecting device for a brush cutter which facilitates the installation regardless of size of a cutter shaft facilitates the replacement of damages components and has light weight and high durability. For accomplishing the purpose, the present invention includes a cutter protecting plate (20) installed on the lower side of a blade (16) for protecting a cutter (16) which is installed on a worktable (1) and rotated by the power.
