The claimed technical solution relates to equipment of the food industry for drying and roasting bulk products, for example, sunflower and pumpkin seeds, coffee beans, chicory, cocoa beans, nuts, for example, peanuts and hazelnuts in a heat carrier stream in the form of hot air. The technical result of the invention is the creation of a plant for heat treatment of bulk food product in a stream of hot air, purified from combustion products and oils, while achieving high quality processing of a wide range of bulk food products. The technical result is achieved by the fact that in the installation for heat treatment of bulk food products the use of a coolant mainly in the form of air containing a working chamber; cyclone; main circuit air blower; heat exchange chamber with air heater; a filter element, interconnected by means of a closed system of air ducts connecting them, the air heater is hermetically placed in the heat exchanger chamber and consists of a heat exchanger connected to the heating element in the form of a gas burner, and gas exhaust of combustion products; in the heat exchange chamber in front of the heater there is a site for cleaning the coolant pumped by the high-pressure fan from the oil contained in the coolant; wherein the cleaning unit is a box-type metal container with plates located inside it for condensation of oil from the air stream; the working chamber is placed on the heat exchange chamber.
