PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for easily designating a three-dimensional interest region in medical image volume data on a two-dimensional image.SOLUTION: Designation of the three-dimensional interest region by a user is supported in an image display of three-dimensional medical image data in a three-dimensional medical image processing system. A candidate object to be displayed in the three-dimensional medical image data is selected according to user input, and visualization processing of the three-dimensional medical image data is performed to display an image that specifies the selected candidate object. An object for designating the three-dimensional interest region is selected according to user selection input to the displayed candidate object image.
