PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reel seat in which a structure for holding a leg portion in a hood portion and the structure of a nut body are devised, and which hardly gives a physical feeling of pressure to a hand, and little gives a pain to the hand, even when used for a long time.SOLUTION: A hood portion 7 on a fixing side includes a leg-attaching portion 5A for receiving the leg portion 5a of a reel 5 in the inside of the expanded portion 10b of a seat body 10, and a cover portion 13 for covering the outer peripheral surface of the seat body 10 including the leg-attaching portion. A hood portion 8 on a movable side includes a rear cover body 12 mounted on the seat body 10, and a leg-pressing body 13 slidably received in the rear cover body 12. A nut body 15 engaged with the leg-pressing body 13 and capable of being slid-driven is mounted on the seat body. A stopper body for fixing the nut body 15 in cooperation with the rear cover body 12 in a state incapable of being moved in the axial direction of the seat body 10 is mounted on the seat body 10.
