To provide a fixing mechanism of an accessory of a bed which generates enough fixing force with light operating force and is easily discriminated between a locked state and an unlocked state.
SOLUTION: In this fixing mechanism of the accessory mounted to an accessory mounting hole of the bed in use, when the lower surface of a base pipe is provided with a fixed leg and a locking leg and the fixed leg is secured to the base pipe. ON the other hand, as to the locking leg, the middle part of the locking leg is journaled to a support member stopped to the base pipe, and a substantially L-shaped lever member is rotatably journaled to the fixed leg side upper part of the journaled part and so that the upper part of the locking leg is pressed by the upward turning of the lever member and the lower part of the locking leg is turned to the fixed leg side. Further, the locking leg side upper part of the fixed leg is provided with a vacancy part and a projection of a release knob penetrated through a spring is pivoted at the end of the lever member. A substantially U-shaped cover member is secured to the fixed leg to guide the upward and downward turning of the lever member.
