PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forceps plug capable of being attached to a cap twice, in a plug to be attached to a mouth such as a forceps mouth of an endoscope, and an endoscope with this plug.SOLUTION: In the plug, an insertion hole 32 for inserting a cap 20 is formed in a plug body 29 of the forceps plug 21. A first engaging claw 34 and a second engaging claw 36 are provided so as to follow the insertion direction of the cap 20 on the inner peripheral surface of the plug body 29. A first fragile portion 45 is formed between the first and second engaging claws 34 and 36 of the plug body 29. A second fragile portion 46 is formed on the depth of the insertion direction from the second engaging claw 36 of the plug body 29. When the plug body 29 is pulled to the front of the cap 20 after the first engaging claw 34 is engaged with a flange 25 of the cap 20, the first fragile portion 45 is broken so that the first engaging claw 34 is left on the cap 20 side.
