To provide a packaged rice mass by putting side by side a plurality of rice masses made by covering laver ON both surfaces of each of a plurality of nearly flat triangular prism-like rice masses so as to oppose laver and lumping together the rice masses followed by packaging with an external film so as to prevent laver from getting wet and sticking to each other.
SOLUTION: The packaged rice mass is such that each laver 5a has a size large enough to cover both triangle surfaces 11 and 11 of the nearly flat prism-like rice mass 1 and a back surface 12 connecting both surfaces, and is held in a sheet-like bag 3 made of a front film 4 and a back film 6 and packaged individually one sheet by one sheet, the front film is dividable into two in the nearly same form and has a dividable part 41 placed ON the back of the rice mass and the back film is formed by superimposing inner ends of two film pieces 61 and 61 of the nearly same form at a position corresponding to the dividable part 41 of the front film 4, the outer circumference of the front film 4 and the back film 6 is welded and an external package bag 7 is provided with a dividable part 71 for open the package.
