PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To specify a reference image useful for diagnosis.SOLUTION: A medical image processing device includes a positioning part, a deformation part, a first setting part, a second setting part, and a search part. The positioning part positions a medical image and each of a plurality of reference images. The deformation part deforms the medical image based on the result of positioning by the positioning part. The first setting part sets a first area of interest to the deformed medical image. The second setting part sets a second area of interest corresponding to the first area of interest to at least two of the plurality of reference images.
