The present invention relates to a novel ankle joint brace using an electromagnetic actuator that has a simple structure, is capable of improving motion accuracy, and is reduced in weight. The present invention includes an upper wearing section for a user&prime；s calf that has two vertical frames which are vertically disposed on both sides； a lower wearing section for receiving the user&prime；s sole that has two vertically disposed coupling frames which are rotatably coupled with the respective vertical frames of the upper wearing section on both sides, the two coupling frames being connected to each other for integrated rotation, and is also provided with a connection frame which is formed to surround a heel part of the lower wearing section； an electromagnetic actuator that lifts and lowers an operating plunger when an electromagnetic force is generated in response to control by a control unit； and a joint frame that has one end connected to the connection frame, has the other hand connected to the operating plunger of the electromagnetic actuator, and rotates the connection frame and the two coupling frames connected thereto from the vertical frames of the upper wearing section by using the lifting and lowering operation of the operating plunger.본 발명은 구조의 단순화를 이룰 수 있도록 하면서도 동작 정확성의 향상을 이룰 수 있도록 하며, 전체적인 무게의 저감 역시 이룰 수 있도록 한 새로운 형태에 따른 전자석형 액츄에이터를 이용한 족관절 보조기에 관한 것이며, 이를 위해 사용자의 종아리 부위에 착용되며, 양측에는 수직하게 설치되는 두 세로프레임을 갖는 상부착용부； 사용자의 발바닥 부위가 안착되며, 양측에는 상기 상부착용부를 이루는 두 세로프레임에 각각 회전 가능하게 결합되는 두 결합프레임이 각각 수직하게 설치됨과 더불어 상기 두 결합프레임이 서로 일괄 회전되도록 연결되면서 상기 하부착용부의 뒤꿈치 부위를 감싸도록 형성된 연결프레임이 추가로 구비되어 이루어진 하부착용부； 제어부의 제어에 의한 전자기력의 발생으로 동작플런저를 승강시키는 전자석 액츄에이터； 그리고, 일단은 상기 연결프레임에 연결되고, 타단은 상기 전자석 액츄에이터의 동작플런저에 연결되어 상기 동작플런저의 승강 동작에 의해 상기 연결프레임 및 이에 연결된 두 결합프레임을 상기 상부착용부의 세로프레임으로부터 회전시키는 조인트 프레임；을 포함하여 구성됨을 특징으로 하는 전자석형 액츄에이터를 이용한 족관절 보조기가 제공된다.
