The invention relates to a device for diffusing (10) a volatile substance comprising: a housing internally defining an air circulation circuit between at least one air inlet and at least one air outlet (42a, 42b , 42c), -a ventilation means (44) arranged in the circuit and adapted to circulate a flow of air from the inlet to the air outlet, and -a receiving zone arranged in the circuit d air downstream of the ventilation means (44) and for receiving a substrate retaining a volatile substance.
