PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lawn protective structure and a lawn protection method in which the digging up of a lawn due to a wild boar for years can be prevented while suppressing an adverse effect on the use of a site and scenery formation.SOLUTION: A lawn protective structure comprises a vegetation mat 1 obtained by integrating a lawn in a geotextile net, and an abandonment material 3 for pressing and fixing the end of the vegetation mat 1 being laid on the ground.
