The present invention relates to a combination of cabozantinib and abiraterone for treating cancer, particularly castration resistant prostate cancer. In one embodiment, the compound of Formula I or Compound 1 is administered with Compound 2 simultaneously (at the same time) or sequentially (one after the other). In a further embodiment, compounds 1 and 2 are administered once a day. In a further embodiment, compounds 1 and 2 are administered on an empty stomach (ie, without eating) about 2 hours and 1 hour after administration.
