PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an animal trap which can surely trap an animal without making the animal escape.SOLUTION: The animal trap for trapping the animal intruding into an inlet 2 by closing the inlet 2 which is formed at a trap chamber 1 comprises: a first seesaw plate 11 which is upwardly inclined toward the depth side in an initial state in a portion reaching the inlet 2 of the trap chamber 1 and oscillates so as to descend toward the depth side by an effect that the animal intruding into the inlet 2 moves toward the depth side and a second seesaw plate 12 which closes the inlet 2 by being inclined toward the depth side in the initial state in the upper portion of the first seesaw plate 11, and opens the inlet 2 by being flipped up in conjunction with the oscillation of the first seesaw plate 11.
