PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope capable of attaching/detaching an operation wire even after connecting a distal end body to a curving section, once the operation wire is attached, preventing the removal and moving of the operation wire without attaching a sheath member or the like of the curving section, and being easily handled in a process.
SOLUTION: A recessed groove 20 is formed circumferentially in a periphery section of a connecting tube 18 for connecting the distal end body 2 to the curving section 4, the distal end of the operation wire 3 is connected to a C-shaped short tube 30 consisting of a material which has a C-cross-sectional material with spring property to be fitted in the recessed groove 20, and the C-shaped short tube 30 is engaged/disengaged with resect to the recessed groove 20 by elastically deforming it in the breadth direction.
