PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a working machine capable of performing a stable assist action and preventing degradation of a gas spring.SOLUTION: A working machine comprises: a frame an apron which is installed behind the frame, which can turn while lowering and flipping up around a first support point fixed to the frame, and the center of gravity of which is located more backward than the first support point and an assist mechanism which is set between a second support point fixed to the frame and a third support point fixed to the apron, makes force act in a direction where the apron is flipped up by making force change the distance between the second support point and the third support point, and includes a gas spring. The gas spring includes: a cylinder a piston inserted into the cylinder a piston rod extending from the piston and a free piston movable inside the cylinder partitioned by the cylinder and the piston.
