PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase an absorption ability, liquid diffusion property and a capturing capacity of an absorbent article having a plurality of layers of absorbers.SOLUTION: The absorbent article includes: a liquid-permeable top sheet 10 located on the skin-facing side a liquid-impermeable back sheet 20 located on the non-skin-facing side and a plurality of absorbers interposed between the top sheet 10 and the back sheet 20 and stacked in a thickness direction. The plurality of absorbers include at least an upper layer absorber 30 located on the side of the top sheet 10 and a lower layer absorber 40 located on the side of the back sheet 20. The upper layer absorber 30 has an upper opening part 31 which extends in a longer direction and has prescribed length and width, and the lower layer absorber 40 has a lower opening part 41 which extends in the longer direction and has shorter length and width than the upper opening part 31.
