Two-phase mouthwash comprises a hydrophilic phase, a hydrophobic phase, a hydrotrope, a preserving agent, cetylpyridinium chloride (CPC) and phosphoric acid. Preserving agent includes a combination of potassium sorbate in amount of 0.07–0.3 % of the total weight of the mouth rinse, sodium benzoate in amount of 0.08–0.3 % of the total weight of the mouth rinse and benzyl alcohol in amount of 0.08–0.8 % of total weight of mouth rinse.
