PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To alleviate a workload in a mower.SOLUTION: A walking-type mower 100 comprises: rear-side drive wheels 16A, 16B which are rotationally driven by a prime mover 20 at a base 12 arranged with a mower blade part 18 an idler wheel 24 which can rotate around a rotating shaft 24a and a steering lever 90. The progressing direction of a mower main body 10 is changed by the operation of the steering lever 90 by a worker. By this constitution, since the worker can perform mowing work while changing the progressing direction of the mower main body 10, the worker can perform the work by making the mower main body 10 intrude into even an intricate place such as surroundings of a trunk.COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT【課題】草刈りにおける労働負荷を軽減する。【解決手段】歩行型草刈機100は、刈刃部18が設けられたベース12に、原動機20により回転駆動される後側駆動輪16A,16Bと、回転軸24a回りに回転可能な遊動輪24と、操舵桿90と、が設けられており、操舵桿90が作業者に操作されることによって、草刈機本体10の進行方向が変更される。これにより、作業者は、草刈機本体10の進行方向を変更させつつ、草刈作業を行うことができるので、幹周辺などの入り組んだ場所にも草刈機本体10を入り込ませて、作業をすることが可能となる。【選択図】図1
