PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air purifier that uniformizes indoor air distribution.
SOLUTION: The air purifier 1 that purifies indoor air taken in through a suction hole 13 and sends it upward through an outlet 15 provided at the upper part is provided with a blower 30 that discharges air upward by a vane wheel 31 arranged within a casing 32 having a tongue 33 and forming a spiral air duct 34, an ion generator 40 for releasing ions within the air duct 34, and a plurality of parallel air flow rectification plates 35 arranged between the tongue 33 and the outlet 15 and vertically extending in parallel with the rotary shaft of the vane wheel 31.
