PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood component transfer port capable of separating a blood component in higher purity and a blood component separation container having the blood component transfer port.SOLUTION: A blood component transfer port 1 arranged on the upper part of a blood storage container 2 comprises: a port body 11 having predetermined height, length and width a blood introduction path 12 provided in the port body 11 a component derivation path 13 provided in the port body 11 and a reduced diameter part 14 which is formed by recessing the lower surface of the port body 11 and whose diameter is gradually reduced from the lower end side to the upper end of the port body 11. The component derivation path 13 is connected to the upper end part of the reduced diameter part 14.
