The present invention relates to inventive novel industrialized method forpreparing purifiedextract containing more abundant active ingredients such as catalpolderivatives from theextract of Pseudolysimachion rotundum var subintegrum than that prepared bytheconventional preparation method disclosed in the prior art and thetherapeutics or functionalhealth food comprising the purified extract for treating and preventinginflammatory, allergicor asthmatic disease. The purified extract showed more potent anti-inflammatory, anti-allergyand anti-asthma activity than that prepared by the conventional preparationmethod disclosedin the prior art through various in vivo tests such as inhibition test on thereproduction ofeosinolphil, the release of immunoglobulin and inflammatory chemokines inplasma andbronchoalveolar fluid as well as the suppression of airway hyperresponsivenessand golbletcell hyperplasia in a OVA-sensitized/challenged mouse model.
