The voltage detection unit detects a voltage that occurs at the voltage measurement electrode pair as a result of current that is generated by the current generation unit and that is supplied to the abdomen of the subject via the current supply electrode pair. The calculation unit generates body composition-related information for the subject on the basis of the voltage occurring at the voltage measurement electrode pair that has been detected by the voltage detection unit, and the voltage generated at the human-body-mimic resistor.
