PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical material surface having a stable coating.
SOLUTION: A homopolymer or copolymer, which is derived from a monomer forming a polymer having a functional group crosslinked to a side chain of a repeating unit by a plasma irradiation at low temperatures under atmospheric pressure and which also is a coating film-forming polymer, is subjected to a plasma irradiation treatment at low temperatures under atmospheric pressure to provide a crosslinked composition. The use of such composition is also disclosed.
