PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seedling transplanter capable of surely planting various seedlings different in kinds, shapes, sizes, etc. SOLUTION: The walking transplanter is provided with an openable seedling planting beak 4 placed on a traveling apparatus 1 and vertically movable in connection with the lifting and lowering motion of a link mechanism 3. A tubular guide 35 to guide a seedling to the seedling planting beak 4 is placed above the planting beak 4 in a manner protruding above beyond the opening fulcrums 19, 21 of the planting beak 4, a seedling table 37 is placed around the upper opening 35a of the guide 35 at the uppermost position of the planting beak 4 and a seedling is temporarily placed on the table for the direct charging of the seedling into the opening 35a by the worker.
