PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color changing container which allows a user to confirm presence of water stored in the container from a container outer surface, does not decrease the strength of the container, hardly generates a fault such as leakage of the water from a hole, and is rich in practicality.SOLUTION: The color changing container 1 is made of a pottery, a container side face 2 has fine communication holes by which the water stored in the inner part leaks out from a container inner surface to the container outer surface, and a low refractive index pigment is stuck on a portion of the container outer surface having the communication holes in a state of being dispersed in a binder resin to form a porous layer 3 having a different transparency between a liquid absorbed state and a liquid non-absorbed state.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】 容器内部に収容した水分の有無を容器外面より判別できる容器であって、容器の強度を低下させることなく、しかも、孔から水が漏れ出すといった不具合を生じることのない、実用性に富む変色性容器を提供する。【解決手段】 陶器により形成されてなる容器であって、容器2側面は内部に収容した水分が容器内面から容器外面に漏出する微細な連通孔を有してなり、容器外側面の前記連通孔を有する箇所に低屈折率顔料をバインダー樹脂に分散状態に固着させた、吸液状態と非吸液状態で透明性が異なる多孔質層3を設けてなる変色性容器1。【選択図】 図1
