PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating proliferative diseases such as cancer.SOLUTION: There is provided a combination therapy method of treating proliferative diseases (such as cancer), which comprises: a first therapy comprising administering to an individual an effective amount of a taxane in a nanoparticle composition； and a second therapy which may include, for example, radiation therapy, surgery, administration of chemotherapeutic agents, or combinations thereof. There is provided a method of administering to an individual a drug taxane in a nanoparticle composition on the basis of a metronomic dosing regime. There is provided a combination therapy method of treating proliferative diseases (such as cancer), which comprises: (a) a first therapy comprising administering to an individual an effective amount of a composition comprising nanoparticles comprising a taxane (such as paclitaxel) and a carrier protein (such as albumin)； and (b) a second therapy such as chemotherapy, radiation therapy, surgery, or combinations thereof.【課題】癌等の増殖性疾患の処置方法を提供すること。【解決手段】本発明は、ナノ粒子組成物のタキサンの有効量を個体に投与することからなる第一の療法、及び例えば放射線療法、手術、化学療法薬の投与又はそれらの組み合わせを含む場合がある第二の療法からなる、増殖性疾患（癌等）を処置する併用療法を提供する。又、メトロノーム投与法に基づきナノ粒子組成物の薬剤タキサンを個体に投与する方法も提供される。本発明は、ａ）タキサン（パクリタキセル等）及び担体タンパク質（アルブミン等）を含むナノ粒子を含む組成物の有効量を個体に投与することからなる第一の療法及びｂ）化学療法、放射線療法、手術又はそれらの組み合わせ等の第二の療法からなる、増殖性疾患（癌等）の併用治療法を提供する。【選択図】なし
