PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology to assist an operation of an operator involved in the insertion of a medical instrument into a living body.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic measurement apparatus is equipped with a processing part for performing ultrasonic measurement based on a transmission and reception result of a two-dimensional probe for transmitting/receiving an ultrasonic wave placed on the surface of a living body above a blood vessel as a puncture object.
