Bei einer Vorrichtung zur kardiopulmonalen Massage und/oder Reanimation eines Patienten, die eine an einem Auflagerbrett (12) angeordnete Massagevorrichtung (14) mit einem reversierend antreibbaren Massagestempel (16) aufweist, der an einem Soll-Kontaktbereich (17) am Brustkorb (18) des Patienten (11) zur Durchführung einer kardiopulmonalen Massage positionierbar ist, schlägt die Erfindung vor, ein am Brustkorb (18) des Patienten (11) an dem Soll-Kontaktbereich (17) positionierbares Halteplattenelement (19) vorzusehen, das mittels mindestens drei an seinem Umfang angreifenden Spannmitteln (20) festlegbar, insbesondere mit dem Auflagerbrett (12) verbindbar und verspannbar ist.
