Die Erfindung betrifft eine Kaugummigrundmasse, die einen im Vergleich zu bekannten Kaugummigrundmassen verbesserten Geruch, Geschmack und verbesserte Oxidationsbeständigkeit aufweist, nur eine geringe Klebrigkeit besitzt, und zudem einfach zu verarbeiten ist. Es handelt sich um eine homogene Zusammensetzung bestehend aus 15 - 45 Gew.-% Polyvinylacetat, 10-30 Gew.-% Vinyllaurat-Vinylacetat-Copolymeren, 15-45 Gew.-% Füllstoffen, 5-30 Gew.-% Wachsen oder Fetten, 1-10 Gew.-% Weichmacher und 1-10 Gew.-% Emulgatoren.Homogeneous composition comprises 15-45 wt.% polyvinyl acetate, 10-30 wt.% vinyl laurate-vinyl acetate copolymers, 15-45 wt.% fillers, 5-30 wt.% waxes or fats, 1-10 wt.% plasticizers and 1-10 wt.% emulsifiers. Independent claims are also included for: (1) producing a homogeneous composition comprising mixing the polyvinyl acetate, vinyl acetate-vinyl laurate copolymer, filler, wax or fat, plasticizer and emulsifier in a discontinuous or continuous method at a temperature of 80-130[deg] C for a time period of 30-100 minutes； (2) a chewing gum comprising the composition, sugar or syrup, flavorings, optionally dyes, fruit acids, moisture-retention agents or polyols and sweeteners； and (3) producing a chewing gum, comprising mixing a homogeneous composition with polyols or sugar, syrup, flavorings, and optionally dyes, fruit acids, sweeteners and moisture-retention agents at approximately 60[deg] C.
