The invention relates to aqueous dyeing compositions containing, in a cosmetically acceptable medium, one or more dyes selected from among synthetic direct dyes having a logP greater than or equal to 2, natural dyes or mixtures of same, and one or more aliphatic monohydroxylated alcohols containing a linear alkyl chain at C7-C10. The invention also relates to a method for dyeing keratin fibres using one such composition and to a kit containing at least one composition according to the invention, without an oxidising agent, and an oxidising containing one or more oxidising agents.La présente invention a pour objet des compositions tinctoriales aqueuses comprenant dans un milieu cosmétiquement acceptable, un ou plusieurs colorants choisis parmi les colorants directs synthétiques de logP supérieur ou égal à 2, parmi les colorants naturels, ou leurs mélanges, et un ou plusieurs alcools monohydroxylés aliphatiques contenant une chaîne alkyle linéaire en C7-C10. Elle a également pour objet un procédé de coloration de fibres kératiniques mettant en jeu une telle composition et un kit comprenant au moins une composition selon linvention dépourvue dagent oxydant et une composition oxydante comprenant un ou plusieurs agents oxydants.
