PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of generating chlorine dioxide gas and also decomposing chlorine dioxide gas in a shorter time than before.SOLUTION: A chlorine dioxide gas generating system includes a chlorine dioxide gas generating device 2 that generates chlorine dioxide gas, and a chlorine dioxide gas decomposing device 5 that takes in the residual gas of the chlorine dioxide gas output into a room from the chlorine dioxide gas generating device 2 and decomposes it.
