Dynamic foot orthosis (1) for a patient, comprising: - a sole (3) intended to be positioned under the foot (P), - an embrace (2) intended to partially encase the calf and having a rear part (5) and two side parts (6), - a connecting piece (4) intended to be positioned at the rear of the leg (J), connected on the one hand to the sole (3) by a hinge (12) and on the other hand at the embrace (2), - two lateral straps (20) intended to be positioned respectively on either side of the foot (P) and laterally connecting the embrace (2) to the sole (3), each strap (20) being fixed by a first end (21) to an anterior part (9) of the sole (3) and by a second end to a lateral part (6) of the embrace (2), - means elastics configured to allow a variation of the visible length of each strap (20) depending on the forces exerted on said elastic means, between a long minimum minimum (lmin) and a maximum length (Imax) predetermined.
